Graduate Recruitment

We are looking for exceptional people.

High quality graduates are essential.  They are the future of our firm.   We want all of our interns, trainees and associates to enjoy their time working here.

We aim to recruit between four and six trainees a year and we aim to keep them all on qualification in the hope that they will spend their entire careers here.

Our firm is built on people who have spent most, if not all, of their careers with us.  That is our practice model and we want it to continue.

We generally work in small teams which include trainees and junior associates on a wide variety of interesting and challenging matters.

Many of our trainees and associates have been interns here.  We encourage anyone thinking of joining us to apply to join our three-week internship programme.  You get to know us and we get to know you.  Information on how to apply for an internship is below.

We look forward to meeting you.

We invest in our people and their careers

We are committed to helping our people achieve their full potential.

As a trainee here, you will be exposed to different business areas, skills, teams and challenges, helping you to learn where your strengths and  interests lie.

You will develop your legal and business skills by working with experienced partners and associates in a diverse, collaborative and innovative environment.

We work across our different practice groups in Hong Kong and our international network.

We have a friendly and relaxed culture with an informal, open door policy.  We encourage discussion and consultation at all levels.

We believe in building authentic and enduring relationships with our clients, our colleagues and the local community.

We want our associates to be entrepreneurial and to build practices of their own, and we support these efforts in every way we can.

We have realistic expectations.  We work hard, but we recognise that billable hours are only one measure of performance.  We do not impose unachievable targets.

Social Committee

Our Social Committee brings the whole office together with various exciting and fun activities throughout the year.  In a close-knit office like ours, there is always room for trainees to take the initiative and start something new.

The Social Committee also organises our holiday gatherings such as the Christmas Party and Spring Dinner.

Last year the Social Committee organised a variety of activities, such as fortnightly Friday night social events in the office, quiz nights, a lantern-making workshop and a Chinese calligraphy workshop.

We look forward to incorporating your ideas into our future events.
